Inautec Screen Saver Policy

This training aims to ensure that all employees understand the rules and responsibilities defined in INAUTEC’s Screen Saver Policy, which establishes mandatory requirements for automatic screen locking and secure device use to protect sensitive and confidential information.

It explains how proper screen locking behavior prevents unauthorized access, especially when devices are unattended or used in public environments. The training highlights the critical role of device security as part of INAUTEC’s ISO 27001–aligned information security measures.

1. Policy Document

Please review the “Screen Saver Policy” (PDF) in the QMS & ISMS MS Teams channel.

The document covers:

  • Purpose and scope of device screen locking
  • Password, PIN, biometric, and pattern unlock requirements
  • User responsibility to manually lock devices when leaving them unattended
  • Guidance for working safely in public or shared environments (shoulder-surfing prevention)
  • Increased vigilance when displaying confidential or sensitive INAUTEC information
  • Responsibilities of all users, including employees, contractors, and BYOD participants
  • Disciplinary consequences for violations

3. Awareness Test

After reviewing the policy (and optionally the video), please complete the awareness test to confirm your understanding of the Screen Saver Policy.

Reviewing the policy and completing the test are mandatory for all employees who use mobile devices for INAUTEC business, as part of our information security and compliance responsibilities.
